My sign-in link says expired or doesn't work

Last updated October 24, 2026

A one-time link is meant for you, not for a mail scanner. If a link says it is expired or already used, you can still get in without starting over from scratch.

  1. Why this happens

Some email security tools (including Outlook and Hotmail Safe Links, and many corporate filters) open every link before you do. If verification ran on that first open, the link would be spent before you arrived. Our links now open a page first. Nothing is verified until you tap Continue.

  2. Use the newest email

Only the newest password or member-area email works. Older ones stop working when a newer one is sent. Find the latest message and use that button or code.

  3. Tap Continue on the page

When "Set my password" opens our page, tap Continue. That is the step that uses the link. Opening the email alone does not spend it.

  4. Or use the 6-digit code

Go to https://members.brannonpatrick.com/auth/code. Enter your email and the 6-digit code from the same email. Use this when a link will not open or a scanner keeps interfering.

  5. Request a new link

If the page says the link was already used or has expired, enter your email at https://members.brannonpatrick.com/forgot-password and we will send one new link. The newest email always works.
