Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Brannon Patrick PLLC (“Brannon Patrick PLLC,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates brannonpatrick.com, the member portal at members.brannonpatrick.com, and related pages, emails and services (together, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The Site is not a health care service
Brannon Patrick is a licensed clinical social worker, but the Site offers educational content and digital products, not therapy or health care. We are not a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and information you share through the Site is not protected health information. Please do not send us details about your health, your sexual history or other sensitive matters through forms or email. If you are a client of a therapy practice, use that practice’s own channels for anything related to your care.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact details and messages: when you use our contact form or email us, your name, email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
- Email sign-ups: when you join our email list or a waitlist, your email address and, if you give it, your name.
- Purchases: when you buy a product, your name, email address, billing country and postal code, the product and the amount. Payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Member portal account: your email address, a password that is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider and that we cannot see, your purchase history, and your progress in courses, such as lessons you mark as complete or have watched. Your account also keeps a first name to greet you, taken from our email list or from the name given at checkout, and you can change or remove it on your Account page. If you buy one-on-one coaching, the member area also keeps what you send us to schedule your sessions: the times you suggest, your time zone, and an optional note about your schedule. We use them only to schedule your sessions.
- Event and webinar registrations: the details you provide when you register for an event we host.
Information collected automatically: when you visit the Site, our hosting and service providers automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This happens through server logs, cookies and similar technologies.
Information from third parties: our payment processor tells us whether a payment succeeded, was refunded or was disputed. Our podcast host may share aggregated listening statistics with us.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to work, such as the cookie that keeps you signed in to the member portal and cookies that protect the checkout. In the member portal, a lesson page also keeps a note in your browser of which parts of that lesson’s video you have played and where you stopped, so it can tell when you have watched it and start again where you left off. That note stays in your browser and is not sent to us. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies, and your browser keeps a note of where your visits came from, such as the referring website or campaign, the page you landed on and the date, which is attached to your order when you buy. On our public pages we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API so we can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people likely to be interested. They tell Meta which public page you opened and, when you buy, that a purchase happened and for how much, along with technical data from your browser such as your IP address, browser type and Meta’s cookie identifiers, and, for purchases, your email address and first name in scrambled (hashed) form. We do not use them in the member area, and we do not send Meta anything you type, your lesson activity, or your conversations with Corner Man. Meta’s use of that data is governed by its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the Site, such as the member portal, may not work. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common standard for responding to them, the Site does not respond to them.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide the Site, deliver the products you buy, and run your member portal account;
- process payments and refunds and prevent fraud;
- send transactional emails, such as purchase confirmations, download links and password reset links;
- answer your messages and requests;
- send newsletters and updates if you signed up for them, which you can stop at any time;
- understand how the Site is used and improve it;
- keep the Site secure and enforce our Terms of Service;
- comply with legal obligations.
5. Discretion
We know the topics on this Site are personal. The subject lines and preview text of our emails never name the product you bought. Card charges appear on your statement as BRANNONPATRICK.COM.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf, including website hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, email delivery, customer relationship management, podcast hosting and video hosting. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Your scheduling request, with your name and email address, is sent by email to our team inbox so a person can confirm a time with you. It is not shared with anyone else.
- Event partners: if you register for an event we run with a partner, such as a retreat organized with Rising Son, we share the details needed to run the event. Events booked on a partner’s own website are covered by that partner’s privacy policy.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or protect someone’s safety.
- Business transfers: if our business is sold, merged or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Account and purchase records are kept for as long as your account exists and as long as tax, accounting and legal rules require. Messages and email list data are kept until you ask us to delete them or you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our providers.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and payment processing by a PCI DSS compliant provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails about your purchases or account will still be sent.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including your member portal account. Deleting your account ends your access to purchased products. We may keep information that the law requires us to keep.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, such as the right to opt out of certain processing or to appeal a decision about your request. We honor these rights as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for using them.
To make a request, email us at info@brannonpatrick.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Users outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Third-party sites and services
The Site links to other websites and services, such as podcast apps, event partners and the Traverse Family Therapy website. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will give notice on the Site or by email before it takes effect.
14. Contact us
Brannon Patrick PLLC

Email: info@brannonpatrick.com
Contact form: brannonpatrick.com/contact
15. Our email list
Our email list works by double opt-in. When you fill in the form, we do not store anything about you. We send one email to the address you gave us with a link in it, and that link expires after seven days. If you never click it, nothing is ever saved and you hear from us no further.
When you click the link, we store your email address and the first name you gave us with two services, together with a note of which page on this site you signed up from and the date. Kit holds our email list, and it is what we use to write to you about the books, the podcast, the courses and upcoming events. Resend is what sends the email this site produces on its own: the confirmation message above, your receipt and download link if you buy something, and password email for the member area.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send you, or by emailing us at info@brannonpatrick.com and asking to be removed. One unsubscribe reaches both services and stops every marketing email from us, whichever of them sent it. We do not sell or share your address, and joining the list is never a condition of buying anything.
16. Corner Man, our AI assistant
Corner Man is an artificial intelligence assistant on this Site, built on Brannon Patrick’s own content. It is not Brannon Patrick, it is not a therapist, and it does not provide therapy, diagnosis or treatment. It tells you this before you can send it a message, and again whenever you ask.
Where your messages go. What you type is sent to Anthropic PBC, the company that makes the Claude models, which processes it on our behalf to generate the reply you see. It is our processor for this purpose. Anthropic’s own terms for business customers say it does not use that material to train its models.
We do not store your conversation. Not the messages you send, not the replies, not a summary of either. Nothing about the content of a conversation is written to our database, our server logs or any analytics tool. Nothing is kept in your browser either. When you close or reload the tab, the conversation is gone on both sides entirely. We cannot retrieve it, and neither can you, so copy anything you want to keep. Moving between the small window and the full Corner Man page by following a link keeps the conversation going, because it is held in the page you already have open, not saved anywhere.
What we do count. So that we can tell whether the thing is useful and whether it is being abused, we keep anonymous counters with no text and no identifiers in them: that the assistant was opened, that a conversation started, how many messages a conversation had, which of the four fixed links was clicked, that the crisis protocol was shown, and that a limit was reached. A counter row is a word and a timestamp. It carries no IP address, no message and nothing that identifies you.
Abuse limits. To stop the assistant being used as a free text generator, we count messages per hour and per day against your browser session and against your network address. Both are stored only as one-way cryptographic hashes, which can be counted and cannot be read back. We also keep a daily total of what the assistant has cost us to run, which is a number of tokens and an amount of money for the whole site, with nothing in it about any person.
We do not sell or share what you write, and we do not advertise with it. Your input is never sold, never shared for anyone else’s purposes, and never used to pick which product to put in front of you. The links to Brannon’s courses, books, podcast and events inside the assistant are the same four links for every visitor, in the same order, whatever the conversation has been about.
It is for adults, and it is not an emergency service. The assistant is for people 18 and over. If you are in crisis it will stop and point you to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, to 911, and where relevant to the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Please do not send it your name, your address or anything else that identifies you or anyone else.
Questions about any of this go to info@brannonpatrick.com.
17. Session recordings
Added October 20, 2026.
A one-on-one coaching session is recorded only if you agree to it, for that session. You can give or withdraw that agreement on the session in the member area until it starts. Without it, nothing is recorded.
A recording is saved in Brannon Patrick’s Google account, where Google Meet stores it, and a copy is kept with our video host so you can watch it again. It is shown only to you, in your member area.
We keep a recording while your account exists. To have one deleted, email info@brannonpatrick.com, and we delete it from both places.
